TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, that range is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Regulation

Now, the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
